Hard to fold

The model I received was the KingCamp Genova. The white letters were printed on the black fabric.
This item had a discount coupon and I decided to try it out. It had a free return policy by Amazon. The main purpose was to use this tent for camp showers.

I like it is light weight and not see through. There are plenty of pockets and hanging lines for clothes and shampoo bottles. There is a side window and that is a good feature.

The biggest problem is folding it. For reference, I folded other manufacturers (G4*** and Ro*** brands) shower tents without issues. I looked at the instruction on the bag. I watched the online video. Tried to fold it for 15 minutes but still no go. After trying to fold it for about 20 minutes, the steel wire slipped inside the fabric and it no longer stood up straight. The tent looked like someone kicked it really hard and it was ready to fall over. After 40 minutes of trying, I finally got it folded.

The other defect was the lack of mesh top. The top was completely open to bugs if the rain fly wasn't installed over the top. Once I put the rain fly over the top opening, the interior became very warm in 80 F temperature with the door closed.

The zippered door opening was short and I had to stoop lower to get inside when compared to other pop up shower tents.

My philosophy is to buy once and buy decent quality. I don't mind paying $10-20 more for a better product. Overall I don't recommend this shower tent.
